Personally, I do think her actions are justified as explained through her memories in book 2. I think she's just so determined to stop devastation that she'll do anything and everything she can. However, not much like Lilly I do not think Lilian went about the right way of dealing with the threat. I think she needed to explain what would happen if the threat posed by the scientists actually took place, how to stop it and try to unite the people against the woven and learn how to destroy them. Having said that I can't wait for the third book!
